WHY PEOPLE HAVE KIDS AR??

Why do people have kids?

-Wanting to continue their family name and leave behind a legacy

-After a job, car, marriage and a house, the next step was to have a child.(an extension of the commitment of marriage)

-Children are the celebration of the union of two people in love. I could live with that.

-I want my kids to look at me the way I look at my parents and say " I hope I can be a parent just like them."

-Despite the theory that people have kids because they want and have planned for a family; the truth is that most people have kids because a woman gets pregnant. That is about the only reason.

-They like kids, want something of 'their own', it is someone to love them unconditionally (until they are a teenager), To positive thinking people have children because they like them, or because they want to make the world a better place or because they can't stop themselves from doing a little genetic experimenting with the partner of their choice ("we'll have a girl, and she'll cure cancer and be president, and end world hunger")make more of our species, etc

-To raise a family and have a positive influence on the next generation

-Being a parent is a really special thing

-People want their kids to look after them when they old. (No one wants to be lonely or die alone)

So basically..

PEOPLE WANT KIDS BECAUSE:-.
1. Someone to love and to give love to me.
2. Someone to take care of me when I am older.
3. Someone to try and impress upon my views of life and the world.
4. Someone to keep my culture going.
5. If I have other kids...someone to keep them company when I am gone
6. Someone who will hopefully get my good genes
7. Someone who will remember me fondly.
8. Someone to pass on whatever material wealth I have accumulated.
9. to take on the challenge/responsibility of parenthood.
10. to help another human being in a most profound way (adoption)
11. to be a part of the overall human tradition


Haizzz..this is one of the GP assignments. Quite an interesting topic. Quite fun to go online to find out what are people's views. Some are funny but sort of crude. Lol, facts of life always sound crazy but they are very true..See? Humans are just bunch of crazy animals that use their brains in weird ways..count me in!! Lol..
